NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Instructor Led Training:

Prerequisites:

  • No prerequisites

Designed for the beginning pistol shooter, NRA Basic Pistol provides a firm foundation in basic handgun safety and operation.

NRA Basic Personal Protection In the Home:

Prerequisites are any one of the following: 

  • NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate
  • Missouri Concealed Carry permit
  • NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate
  • NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card
  • Military DD 214 with pistol qualification

The NRA Personal Protection In the Home course Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.

NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home:

Prerequisites:

  • NRA Basic Personal Protection In the Home course certificate

The course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.

NRA Range Safety Officer:

Prerequisites:

  • No previous training required.

This course develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

NRA Basic Rifle

Prerequisites:

  • No prerequisites

Designed for the beginning rifle shooter, NRA Basic Rifle provides a firm foundation in basic rifle safety and operation.

NRA Basic Shotgun

Prerequisites:

  • No prerequisites

Designed for the beginning shotgun shooter, NRA Basic Shotgun provides a firm foundation in basic shotgun safety and operation.

NRA Defensive Pistol Shooting Course

Prerequisites:

  • NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course certificate

Designed for the concealed carrier, the NRA Defensive Pistol Shooting Course provides techniques and skills needed to survive a violent confrontation.  This course is scheduled by request only.

NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading & NRA Shotshell Reloading

Prerequisites:

  • No prerequisites

The road to loading your own ammunition can be challenging but very rewarding.  The NRA reloading courses are perfectly suited for the novice reloader.  These courses are scheduled by request only.
