Course Description: This POST Approved course is a great addition for anyone for competent shooters that want to teach, instructors that want to move beyond the basic NRA or USCCA pistol instructor training and instructors that are looking for new information and training development. Its is also designed for civilian or LE instructors that are responsible for providing certified training for LE or security officers. 

This course emphasizes the why of what we are doing, how to get our students there efficiently, and what we want to get in performance and outcome based goals – because you need both.

Equipment List:
Students should bring a picture ID, drinks, snacks, and a lunch.  Please be aware that our shooting range is outdoors and we will shoot in any weather.  Please dress appropriately for weather.

Pistol:

  • Handgun
  • Holster
  • 2 to 3 magazines or speed loaders
  • 400 rounds of ammunition
  • Note taking material
  • Hand held light (we have loaners to t&e)
  • Snacks and hydration as needed
  • Eye and ear protection

Force on Force:

  • Lightweight jacket or sweatshirt
  • Shooting gloves
  • Groin protection
  • If you have a Glock 17 Gen 3 or 4 holster, please bring it (no need to buy one if you don’t have one)

Instructor will provide:
