SRT Group – Defensive Rifle Skills Course/Performance Rifle  

Course Description: The class is open to all levels of shooters. The course takes you from the basic effective zero of the rifle to understanding offset and POA/ POI at varying distances.  

The Defensive Rifle Skills Class is a law enforcement state certified (8) hour class that teaches you how to run the gun like it should be if needed in a self – defense situation and builds a good foundation for your shooting and gun handling skills.

After understanding the basic zero and operation, the course will work on keeping the rifle running, handling malfunctions, reloads as needed—then movement and its priorities, use of cover, close quarters issues and transitions to a handgun from rifle operations, building performance and maintaining speed and accuracy.

• Rifle with a sling
• 2 magazines
• 250 to 300 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection
• We have loaner equipment if needed
